A rainbow adventure...

Believe it or not our kids have never dyed Easter eggs before. I don't know why...well to be honest I never wanted to deal with the mess -- and did we have a mess! A word to the wise: don't fill your cups too full. Duh. I don't know what we were thinking. Oh well, we're going to be replacing our floors in the summer and I didn't really like that vintage towel that was my Grandma's anyway.

(More after the jump...)

The kids had a blast, Z made dinosaur eggs and can't wait for them to dry so he can plaster them with stickers. Mimi caught on really quick and greatly enjoyed tossing her eggs (or balls as she calls them) into the cups.

So now we have two dozen rainbow colored eggs...and I don't even like to eat eggs. LOL. I have no idea what we're going to do will all these hardboiled eggs. Chris can only take so many to work for lunch. At least the kids are happy and we have the most beautiful eggs on the block.

PS: Anyone have a good recipe that uses hardboiled eggs?
