Bring on the Custom Orders!

Oh how I love custom orders! Let me count the ways... :) I do really enjoy making something special and unique all the little chickadee's out there!

Here is one that I did just recently for my cousins' - friends' - daughter:

One thing that I really like about doing custom orders is that I get to try things that I normally wouldn't try. I don't know if I would have ever picked this color combo, but look how cute and sweetly punk-rock it looks! I just love it - especially with the polka-dot ribbon, I think it's a cute touch.

So bring me your custom orders and special requests...I would love to work with you and try something exciting and new. And you'll get your very own unique clip made just for you. How cool is that?

Seward Park

Yesterday we had a bit of sunshine so I took the kids down to Seward Park to play and so I could take their pictures. I needed some of Mimi wearing headbands for my shop and my mom wanted a picture of both the kids together wearing their Disneyland gear since we forgot to take one while we were actually in Disneyland, LOL.

Let's be Lazy Daisies!

A wonderful Etsy shop owner, LilyanLou, included my Daisy headband in a fun spring-time treasury! Thank you LilyanLou!

PS: check out lilyanlou's tie and vest onsies for boys, they are SUPER cute!

mmm...mmm....good

Ever have one of those days where the weather is yucky, you just can't seem to get anything done and you don't even want to THINK about making dinner?

Enter simple (yet delicious) chicken noodle soup recipe to the rescue! You can even make it while your oldest tests your IQ with rapid-fire "why?" questions and your littlest has a death grip on your pant leg. What's better than that? (Besides take out!)

A fun new treasury

I was bored yesterday, but it was a good thing because I ended up making my first treasury on etsy (and finding a lot of new favorite items):

A rainbow adventure...

Believe it or not our kids have never dyed Easter eggs before. I don't know why...well to be honest I never wanted to deal with the mess -- and did we have a mess! A word to the wise: don't fill your cups too full. Duh. I don't know what we were thinking. Oh well, we're going to be replacing our floors in the summer and I didn't really like that vintage towel that was my Grandma's anyway.
